I was listening to a sermon and the preacher was talking about John 6:16-21. The disciples were in the midst of a storm and they saw Jesus walking on the water. So many times people think that if they are in the midst of a storm they are out of God’s will. But that is not true. Earlier that evening, Jesus had told the disciples to get into the boat and go to the other side. He told them that He would meet them there. But while they were in the “midst of obeying” a storm arose. Yet, they were right where God wanted them to be. If troubles and storms arise while you are in the “midst of obeying,” remember, you are right where God wants you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. In the midst of trouble, fear not, Jesus is coming, even if He has to walk on the water.
Thought for Today: No storm is allowed but that God is in the midst of it.
