The Fruit of Rightousness

Dear Diary,

The fruit of righteousness is peace: peace of mind, peace of heart, peace of soul, peace in the midst of pain.  The effects of righteousness is quietness and confidence: quietness of spirit in the midst of the storm; calm in the midst of the battle; confidence that the battle is the Lord’s; resting in the victory of the Lord.  The Lord is our peace, our quietness, our comforter.  The Lord is our assurance of Salvation through faith.  He leads us in the path of righteousness; He restores our soul.  “Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD” (Psalms 118:19).  Righteousness is the habitation of God’s throne.  Let us have our fruit unto holiness and our confidence in the Lord.  Rest in His righteousness now and forever more.

Thoughts for Today:  “The work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance forever” (Isaiah 32:17).
