Faith never wonders why? Things happen that we don’t understand, and our natural response is, “Why?” But God expects us to trust Him. Our lack of trust disappoints God. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Let us rise to this great trust. The Lord has promised good for us. His Word is our security. His love is our strength. To wonder why something is allowed would be dishonor to our Savior as though we doubted His love for us. All He allows is for our allotment good. “Let us not grieve His love by wondering why” (Amy Carmichael).
Thought for Today: Someday when we all get to heaven we will know all the “whys?” God has a purpose for everything and “Our times are in His hands” (Psalm 31:15).
