Oswald Chambers wrote, “When we choose deliberately to obey Him [God], then He will tax the remotest star and the last grain of sand to assist us with all His almighty power” (My Utmost for His Highest, p.336). I know this to be true. There have been times that God sent the rain and even a snow storm to intervene on His children’s behalf. God is always directing, leading and showing the way; if we just look, watch, listen and obey. Obedience is the key. If we learn to trust and obey what God has already shown us He will reveal more truth to us. Wouldn’t we do the same thing for our children? We would do all that was within our power to help them if they trusted us, hung on our every word and obeyed our every command; much more than if they rebelled against us. God is no different. He has only good for His children who obey, and once they obey what has been revealed to them, God will reveal more. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28).
Thought for Today: God will move heaven and earth for those who love Him and obey Him.
