Isn’t it just like God to send us into the deep waters so only His power can keep us from drowning. Then, and only then, does God receive the glory. What good would it be if we had the strength to save ourselves; then we would receive the glory. Only through Christ can we do all things. (Philippians 4:13). He has promised to sustain us and keep us. Where He leads He will provide. There are many examples in the Bible where God sent people into situations beyond their control. Moses was “slow of speech, and of a slow tongue”, yet God sent. (Exodus 4:10). Deborah was a woman, yet God sent. (Judges 4:9). Gideon only had 300 men, yet God sent. (Judges 7:6). David was but a boy from the sheep fold, yet God sent. (I Samuel 17:45). The disciples went out with no script or purse and shoes, yet God sent. (Luke 22:35). So where God sends, we are to go, and He will provide.
Thought for Today: If God has given you something to do that seems beyond you; rejoice, God has sent and He will wondrously provide.
