Someone once told me, “God is too busy running the universe to worry about your trivial needs.” They said, “God isn’t concerned about the little details of your life, and you shouldn’t ask Him for small insufficient things.” I disagree! God knows every detail of my life and He cares. If He knows the number of hairs on my head, then He knows and cares even when I have a bad hair day. He knows every detail of my life; every freckle, every hang-nail, every pain, and He cares. Matthew 10:29 says, “Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.” “Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.” (Matthew 10:31). God does want to hear about our trivial needs. He does want us to ask Him for help with small insufficient things, even a bad hair day.
Thought for Today: God is so big He can span the universe; yet He cares about things so small that He even knows the very numbers of your hair. “But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.” (Luke 12:7).
