Have you ever led someone to the Lord, and as a baby Christian learning to take baby steps, they hang on your every word to the point that you feel sucked dry? Oswald Chambers said, “Before other souls learn to draw on the life of the Lord Jesus direct, they have to draw on it through you; you have to be literally ‘sucked’ [dry] until they learn to take their nourishment from God” (My Utmost for His Highest, p.40). Because of this you must always remember from where comes your strength. Your strength comes directly from the Lord and through His Word. You must daily go to that store of supply to be replenished. The Word is nourishment indeed. Psalm 118:14 says, “The Lord is my strength and song and he has become my Salvation.” God’s Word will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones (Proverbs 3:8).
Thought for Today: Others are starving for Christ and you must lead them to the well watered pasture where Jesus feeds His lambs and carries His young.
