Jesus refers to us as sheep. What kind of sheep are you? There are 5 kinds of sheep.
1). False Sheep – They say they are saved, but they are deceiving themselves. They are wolves in sheep clothing. (I John 2:19).
2. Stunted Sheep – They are carnal, always needing milk, unable to be fed meat. They are forever baby Christians who will enter heaven as by fire. (Hebrews 5:13).
3. Poisoned Sheep – They have been fed false doctrine and have become weak and sickly. (Matthew 7:5).
4. Wounded Sheep – They have been hurt, but instead of letting the shepherd mend their wounds, they carry emotional scars that turn into a root of bitterness. (Hebrews 12:15).
5. Lost Sheep – They are the unsaved without a shepherd. (John 10:16).
It reminds me of that beautiful painting of Jesus reaching down the side of a cliff to recuse one of His sheep. Which sheep are you?
Thought for Today: “I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.” (John 10:14).
