.) You must be saved and in the will of God. “Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.” (John 9:31).
.) Ask in faith, believing. “…What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:24). “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” (Matthew 21:22).
.) You must not be living in sin. “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” (John 15:7). “And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.” (I John 3:22).
.) You must not have bitterness or an unforgiving spirit. “And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.” (Mark 11:25-26).
Thought for Today: Pray believing, and the God of heaven shall answer.
